We partnered with Owens Corning on their Roof Deployment Project because we truly believe in this program and have witnessed firsthand the immense relief and joy it brings recipients.

Since 2016, over 500 military veteran households have benefitted from new roofs through Owens Corning Roof Deployments across the country. We’re proud to be a Platinum Preferred Contractor actively participating in deployments right here in the Tampa Bay region.

What is a Roof Deployment

A roof deployment is when a roofing company volunteers to replace the roof of a military veteran in need at no cost to them. We work closely with Owens Corning and charity partners to identify struggling veterans who could benefit from a new roof. Owens Corning then donates all the high-quality roofing materials while we donate our time and expertise to install the roof.

Our Comprehensive Roof Deployment Process

Every roof deployment starts with identifying a veteran in the community who is struggling and could benefit from a roof replacement. We work closely with Owens Corning and charity partners who specialize in assisting veterans to select qualified recipients.

Once selected, our team performs a thorough roof evaluation to determine what is needed. We then create a full installation plan customized for that roof with Owens Corning products offered free of charge.

On installation day, our experts take care of everything – providing a complete tear-off all the way down to the roof deck, followed by professional installation of high-quality Owens Corning shingles and other components selected for superior protection. We handle permits and ensure compliance with all local building codes. Within days, the veteran has a beautiful new roof over their heads, transforming their home.

Who’s Eligible For an Owens Corning Roof Deployment

The Roof Deployment Project aims to support military veterans who need help with home repairs. To qualify, recipients must meet the following criteria:

  • Honorably discharged from the U.S. military
  • Currently own and occupy the home in need of roof replacement
  • Facing financial hardship or distress
  • We also give priority to disabled veterans when selecting recipients for deployments

Frequently Asked Questions About Roof Deployment

How much does a roof deployment cost me?
As a recipient veteran, the new roof installation is completely free, including all labor and materials. It’s our and Owens Corning’s way of giving back.

When do you do the roof replacements?
We schedule deployments at our convenience when crews are available, typically during normal working hours Monday through Friday. Installations take 1-2 days, with additional return trips for inspections and finishing touches.

What kind of roofs do you install?
We exclusively install Owens Corning Duration Series shingles in the color of your choice. This product offers superb protection along with a strong, limited lifetime warranty.

Will you replace my entire roof?
Yes, we tear everything off down to the roof deck and replace all components needed for peak performance – flashings, vents, fasteners, underlayments, plus the shingles.

How long does the process take?
It varies case by case, but expect around 2 months from initial application to completion after you’ve been approved as a recipient.
