SHINGLE MASTERS ROOFING NOW PROVIDES WIND MITIGATION INSPECTIONS THAT CAN RESULT IN INSURANCE SAVINGS

Tampa, Fla. (December 15, 2009) - Shingle Masters Roofing & Construction Services Inc., now provides a Wind Mitigation Inspection that can result in insurance discounts to every customer receiving a roof replacement.

Because many of the items in Shingle Masters’ complete roofing system qualify for insurance discounts, such as re-nailing the sheathing with ringshanked nails and peel and stick underlayment, Shingle Masters Roofing now provides every customer with a Wind Mitigation Inspection included in the cost of a new roof.

“We believe that every roof replacement customer absolutely needs a Wind Mitigation Inspection,” stated Mike Beauchaine, Vice President. “Insurance discounts are several hundred dollars a year. Over a five year period, these savings can offset a significant amount of the cost of a roof replacement.”

After getting a roof replacement from Shingle Masters, James Council submitted the Wind Mitigation Inspection to his insurance agent and was refunded $870 in insurance premiums paid on his homeowner’s insurance policy. A Wind Mitigation Inspection is an inspection of the strength of a home against wind damage. Items such as truss tie downs, sheathing nailing, storm shutters and the roofing system are inspected to identify the type of construction and strength of the home.
